Counselling offers you the opportunity to talk freely and openly about yourself and your life with a professionally qualified counsellor in a safe and supportive environment free from pre-conceptions and judgments. Counselling can be a place to bring along those things that might be troubling you or causing you distress or it can be a place for you to come and do some self-exploration or personal development.
Counselling can
help you to clarify things
help you to feel empowered
help you to see that you have choices
help you to increase your self awareness
help you to identify your resources & strengths
help you to gain a greater insight into your world
help you to see things from a different perspective
help you to decide if you want to make changes in your life
Whatever your reasons for choosing counselling, my aim as your counsellor is to be alongside you throughout your counselling journey.
The core of my work is based on the Humanistic counselling model, into which I integrate a variety of approaches that are appropriate to the work I will be doing with you. I work in an open and respectful way and aim to create a safe space to help you change, grow & heal & regain control over your life.
