I am National Director of the Society of Bereavement Practitioners, an organisation committed to promoting and supporting excellence in bereavement and end of life care. I have spoken at many professional conferences and seminars, and have appeared in a number of professional journals. I have led training sessions in working with the bereaved for a number of bereavement organisations including Cruse. I have worked extensively with bereaved parents and with people bereaved traumatically. I have a particular interest in working with bereaved pet owners, who often feel unable to seek help as they deal with the loss of a much-loved companion animal.
