I have fifteen years experience as a specialist bereavement and grief counsellor.

I am a UK Accredited Counsellor and Registered Nurse. I have worked in Primary Care, Secondary Care (NHS) and currently work in private practice.

    Experience
    I have 15 years counselling experience as nurse, ordained minister and counsellor.

    I am National Director of the Society of Bereavement Practitioners, an organisation committed to promoting and supporting excellence in bereavement and end of life care. I have spoken at many professional conferences and seminars, and have appeared in a number of professional journals.

    I have led training sessions in working with the bereaved for a number of bereavement organisations including Cruse.

    I have worked extensively with bereaved parents and with people bereaved traumatically.

    I have a particular interest in working with bereaved pet owners, who often feel unable to seek help as they deal with the loss of a much-loved companion animal.

    All my clients can be assured of caring, non-judgmental, friendly and empathetic support.

    I have full professional indemnity insurance and enhanced CRB clearance

    Fees
    Hourly Fees
    £15.00 - £45.00 depending on time and day and client income.

    Initial assessment is always free.
