I have worked for Relate for 7 years and have counselled individuals, couples, families and young people for Relate, in primary and secondary schools, in homeless hostels and in private practice. I am a member of BACP, am fully insured and hold an enhanced CRB disclosure.

I believe therapy should adapt to and follow the client and I use my integrative training to work in a way that suits the individual(s) whether this means a one-off session, short term CBT or long term psychotherapy or couples work.

I also offer life coaching to individuals and couples who want to make positive changes in their lives based on solution focussed techniques.

Common issues I deal with include:
  • communication problems
  • sex and sexuality
  • stress
  • anxiety and depression
  • anger
  • affairs
  • parenting and step parenting
  • domestic violence and abuse
  • suicidal thoughts.

Young people also frequently talk about:
  • bullying
  • school
  • drugs & alcohol
  • family problems.
