It can be a difficult decision to decide whether to enter counselling. It can also hard to know which counsellor to work with as it is very important to feel able to trust and open up to the person you want to work with. My aim is to provide a safe, non judgemental space where you can explore whatever is on your mind. For some people it may be a general feeling of being down or low. For others it may be that anxious thoughts are churning round and round in their head on a continuous loop and need sharing and examining. Some people come with issues of bereavement and loss, relationship problems or endings, addiction, abuse (past and/or present). Other people may be experiencing an empty nest or a job change.

My background is in education and midwifery and some people seek me out regarding issues around conception, miscarriage and childbirth.

I am a member of BACP. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and Guidance on Good Practice.
